INVITATION TO TENDER
720 MW KAROT HYDROPOWER PLANT
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
1. Project Overview and Scope of Tender
Karot Power Company (Pvt) Limited (KPCL) is implementing and will put into commission the Karot Hydropower Project in Pakistan. The project facilities include: (i) A 95.5-m-high asphaltic concrete core rockfill dam, (ii) A concrete spillway structure, (iii) Four 9.6-m-diameter concrete lined headrace tunnels, (iv) A hydropower plant with 4x180 MW Francis turbine units, and (v) Roads, general infrastructure and other minor structures.
2. Qualification
(i) At least US$ 50,000,000 of A/Verage gross revenue for the past three years;
(ii) At least US$ 8,000,000 of A/Verage working capital for the past three years;
(iii) At least 10 years of experience in operating and managing large scale hydropower plant (installed capacity over 720 MW, single unit capacity over 120 MW);
(iv) At least 92% equipment A/Vailability and forced or partial forced outage rate of less than 3% for all operated hydropower plants for the past three years.
3. Obtaining the Tendering document
